Mr. Mayfield graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973 with a Juris Doctorate Degree at the age of 22. He is a native of Okolona, Mississippi where he graduated from Fannie Carter High School with honors in 1968. After high school, he was an honor student at the University of Mississippi before he was suspended for peaceful civil rights demonstrations on the Ole Miss Campus in February 1970. After suspension, he transferred to Tougaloo College where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in May 1971. Mr. Mayfield obtained his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School at the age of 22 and began practicing law in Tupelo, MS in 1974 at the age of 23.
Mr. Mayfield is now Senior Attorney in the Mayfield Law Firm, P.A. where he manages the firm’s practice of Auto Accidents, Bankruptcies, Social Security Disability, and Workers Compensation Cases.

Catherine is originally from Foley, Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Spring Hill College majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from The Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 2013. Catherine primarily works with clients to help them with a financial plan to either gain a fresh start or get back on track with their debts. Catherine has experience in both Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies, along with Social Security Disability cases. Catherine is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, Mississippi Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi. In her free time, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband Drew, and their goldendoodle, Charlie Bean. She also enjoys traveling, reading, music, amateur gardening, and trying out new and different foods.

Dominique K. Mayfield attended the University of Mississippi where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She then went on to attend Western Michigan University – Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
In 2012, Dominique was employed by Plummer Law Group, PC, a boutique transactional entertainment and sports law firm in Southern California. For five years, she served as an entertainment law clerk and initial point of contact for clients, opposing counsel and management teams. She assisted with drafting and negotiating talent agreements, music publishing deals, endorsements/sponsorships and recording artist agreements. She also has experience in helping artists with copyright protection, performing rights organization (PRO) registration and LLC formation.
In 2017, Dominique relocated back to her home state in Mississippi to work in the family practice expanding her legal experience in federal, insurance and administrative law. She primarily worked out of the firm’s Southaven office overseeing bankruptcy cases for the Western District of Tennessee, firmwide cases for disability claimants and a select range of personal injury matters. She is known for her compassion, firm execution and drive to help her clients receive maximum past due benefits. Dominique now serves as the firm’s consulting attorney.
In addition to law, Dominique enjoys spending time with family and exploring other cultures through travel, music and dance.

Mrs. Mayfield graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1980. She has been a paralegal with the Mayfield Law Firm since 1984. Mrs. Mayfield is responsible for the overall management of the firm, including consultation and interviews for all new clients. She has developed quite a reputation for understanding, caring, and serving the needs of all clients of the firm.

Janlyn is one of the auto accident paralegals at the Mayfield Law Firm where she has been employed for over 5 years. Janlyn is an exceptional paralegal who demonstrates professionalism and efficiency in her work. Raven is originally from Gunnison, MS and is now a DeSoto County, MS resident. She is a graduate of West Bolivar High School's Class of 2012 and later attended Mississippi State University to pursue a bachelor's degree in Criminology.
Raven now serves as paralegal in the Southaven location where she assists clients filing for bankruptcy and Social Security Disability benefits. She has always had a passion for helping people and it shows in her work at the firm. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and creating DIY projects around her home.

Lauren is a Pontotoc native and a 2007 honor graduate of Pontotoc High School. She attended Itawamba Community College and chose to continue her education at Mississippi State University pursuing a career in real estate.
Before furthering her career at Mayfield Law Firm, Lauren served as a Justice Court Clerk with Pontotoc County Justice Court for 6 ½ years. She now serves as a legal assistant to our bankruptcy staff in our Tupelo location, exemplifying professionalism and enthusiastically working to serve clients. She strives to make sure all clients’ needs are met compassionately and in a timely manner.
Lauren is married to Blake Holloway and has gained a bonus daughter, Lyndi, who she enjoys watching on the ball field. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, antiquing, traveling and shopping.

Emily is a Pontotoc, MS native and currently resides in Nettleton. She graduated from South Pontotoc High School and later from ICC in 2010 where she obtained an Associates in Criminal Justice. She began her career at Mayfield Law Firm in January 2023. Emily and her husband Charlie, have a 6-year old daughter named Kaelyn. She enjoys helping people and learning new things. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and reading.

Marelda graduated as the salutatorian from Shannon High School in 2019. She went on to pursue her studies at Itawamba Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi, where she excelled and graduated with honors. With a degree in Merchandising BSBA, Marelda possesses a strong foundation in business and aims to forge a successful career in this dynamic field.
Marelda now serves as receptionist and marketing assistant in our Tupelo office. With her excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor, she ensures that clients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they enter the firm.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Marelda has a passion for fitness and customer service. When she's not working, you can find her at Selfish Fitness Studio, where she enjoys assisting customers and staying active. Marelda values quality time with her loved ones, especially her niece, nephew, and beloved dog. Her warm and friendly nature makes her a joy to be around, and she thrives in providing support and assistance to those around her.
